Temporary Exemption to
New U.S. Safety Rules for Aston Martin
A temporary
exemption to new U.S. safety rules regarding side-impact federal safety
standards has been granted to Aston Martin. In an online statement The National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration said “The basis for the grant is that
compliance would cause substantial economic hardship to a low volume
manufacture that has tried in good faith to comply with the standard”. Do the niche nature of its business the NHTSA
is giving the manufacture longer to comply.
