New Social Platform in Development

We are happy to announce a new socially based platform is in development for 2Carpros.com and will be implemented in early fall. This platform will not only give users the ability to talk about their car problems it will also give the ability to contact with people that own the same car and in turn may have similar problems and their solutions. Additionally the new site will be written in Ruby on Rails which is the same programming language as Twitter and Facebook. This will improve site load time and improve functionality.

Gulf Oil Leak

With the oil leak in the gulf of Mexico it has got to make you wonder if this will be the push we need to start a major conversion to all or partial electric vehicles. With companies like Coda and Tesla new ideas and designs are taking us into the next level of transportation. What are we suppose to do if BP cannot fix the leak, let it run out? This can take quite some time with unprecedented biological consequences. A catastrophe of this size will need to be monitored and safeguards put into place to prevent any such feature event. It is unfortunate that a problem like this must occur BEFORE large corporations decide on how to handle it.
