Ford Recalling 2011 model year, E-150, E-25-, E-350 and E-450

The recall is for the improper manufacturing of windshields that did not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No.205 "Glazing Materials." This condition can lead to some of the windshields forming bubbles in the glass after an extended time in hot temperatures. The vehicles that may be affected are vehicles built between May 12, 2011 through May 26,2011 models,  E-150, E-25-, E-350 and E-450. These bubbles may impede the drivers ability to see increasing the risk of an accident.

Ford will be notifying vehicle owners that may be affected by the recall to take their vehicle to a Ford dealership to have the windshield inspected and if bubbles are found the dealer will replace the windshield free of charge.
