Nissan Recalling approximately 768,000 vehicles for Different Issues
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Nissan Motor Company said today that 552,135 Nissan Rogue Crossover model years 2008 and 2013 are going to be recalled due to the possibility of having moisture seeping through the floor on the driver’s side potentially causing a short in the electrically wiring leading to a fire. Out the 552,135 vehicles being recalled 468,815 are registered in the U.S.
The Nissan Pathfinder SUV’s model years 2013 and 2014 along with the Infiniti JX35 SUV’s model year 2013 are being recalled for secondary hood latch problems, out of the 215,789 vehicles involved in this recall 170,665 are registered in the U.S.
The recall extends to Canada for 52,312 Rouge Crossovers and 15,972 Pathfinder SUV’s and Infiniti JX35 SUV’s.
