Recall for Hyundai America

Hyundai America is recalling some of their Genesis model year 2012 that were manufacture August 1, 2011 to April 30 2012 for a defect in the windshield wiper motor cover seal which can cause corrosion on wiper motor’s circuit board that could lead to intermittent and even total loss of wiper function that in inclement weather could impede the drivers visibility increasing the risk of an accident.  

Also affected with the same defect is the 2011 to 2013 Hyundai Equus vehicles with the manufacture dates of July 10, 2011 to June 12, 2012. 

Owner’s will be notified by Hyundai and the wiper cover seal will be replaced by the dealership's at no cost to the vehicle owners.
