 Recall for Toyota's Avalon

124,050 Toyota Avalon's are being recalled by Toyota Motor Corporation for an electrical issue that could cause inadvertent deployment of the front airbags. Toyota said that in the 2003 and 2004 Avalon's certain circuits in the airbag control module may be damaged due to exposure to electrical noise from other electrical components and the seat belt pretensioners could also inadvertently deploy. A spokes woman from Toyota Motor Corp. stated that there were no accidents or fatalities only one minor injury was reported. The majority of the cars being recalled were sold in the United States, approximately 4,000 cars in the Middle East, about 1,000 cars in Canada and 50 cars in China.
